How To Get Started

Getting Started with KMS is easy and fast.

You can even get started without your company’s details. All that is required is the equipment details to set up your account.

Equipment details for each unit.

• Unit Number

• Make

• Model

• Serial Number

• Current Unit Hours

Your email details

• Your Name

• Email Address

KMS will take the above information and start a Maintenance Management Program for your company.

KMS will then email to you reporting forms for your employee’s to use (Equipment Operators, Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians) with simple instructions on how to report.

• Weekly Equipment Reporting Form

• Maintenance Reporting Form

• Repair Reporting Form

All you have to do is distribute the forms to your employee’s with a copy of the instructions.

Then at the end of the first week fax all the reports from your employee’s to KMS using our fax number.

KMS will feed the information in and generate the first set of reports for you on your equipment.
Your reports will be placed in a folder on the KMS webpage and only you will have access to the records.

Each week the process is repeated, your employee’s reports are faxed to KMS and your records are updated.

Once the base of your program is in place (The first two weeks) KMS will request

• Maintenance Information for each unit.

• Maintenance Requirements (Engine oil change, Lubrication intervals, Fuel filter change, etc.)

• What filters, oils and other maintenance materials that are required.

• What frequency you want the maintenance to be performed at.

This information will be entered into your program and used to create the base of your Preventative Maintenance Program.
Once your maintenance information is fed in you will know what has been done and what needs to be done at all times.
The PM information is updated at least once per week and all your records are updated.

It is that simple! You do not have to enter any information. KMS does all the data entry for you !

By the end of the first month most if not all your information will be fed in and you will start to gain information that you can save money with. In this way you will be able to see real savings with KMS and elect to continue our services.
